Job Description
Postdoctoral positions are available to study leukocyte biology and inflammation in the Department of Pharmacology, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT.My laboratory has been studying signaling pathways, including Wnt and GPCR-coupled ones, for their roles in leukocyte functions with emphasis on inflammation, tissue injuries, autoimmune diseases, and tumor immunology. We are using various biochemical, molecular and cell biological, structural biological, genomic (including CRISPR/Kas9 screening, single cell sequencing, etc), proteomic, lipidomic, metabolomic, computational, and mouse model approaches. We have made important contributions to characterization of Wnt signaling mechanisms (Mol. Cell 7, 801; Nat Genet. 37, 945; Science 321, 1350) and their roles in tumor immunity and inflammation (Nat. Comm.15,3068 & 15, 603; Cell Rep.43, 113934; Nat. Med.24, 262; Cancer Cell 38, 844), and neutrophil migration and recruitment mechanisms and their roles in inflammatory diseases (Cell187, 846; Sci. Transl. Med 13, 591; Nature Medicine 22: 1033-42; Cell Report 14,734; Dev. Cell 27,215; Nature Cell Biology 4, 686; Dev. Cell 21, 1038, Immunity 33, 340, JCI 118, 195, S, Nat. Cell Biol. 7, 399, Cell 114, 215, Science 287, 1046). We continue working along these lines with increased emphasis on investigation of neutrophil biology in the context of tissue injury, inflammation-related diseases, and cancer.
Competitive salary and an excellent work environment are offered. Self-motivated individuals with an advanced degree and experience in any area of biomedical sciences, particularly bioinformatics, are encouraged to apply. Please send CV and names of three references to:
